Park Tickets Terms & Conditions | Mandai Wildlife Reserve

The following terms and conditions and any other applicable specific terms and conditions (collectively, the “Terms and Conditions”) shall apply to the tickets in respect of the (a) entry to, and/or (b) participation in any ride or activity in or around, any area, park or attraction in the Mandai Wildlife Reserve (each area, park or attraction that is ticketed or where a ticketed ride or activity may be undertaken in, a “Park”, and collectively, the “Parks”), and shall form a legal agreement (the “Agreement”) between the guest (the “Guest”) and Mandai Park Holdings Pte. Ltd. and its subsidiaries, related companies and affiliates who are engaged in its lines of businesses, as the case may be (the “Mandai Wildlife Group” or “MWG”).

MWG reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice to the Guest. By purchasing a ticket to or entering any of the Parks, the Guest confirms to have read and understood, and agrees to be bound, by these Terms and Conditions.

General Ticket Conditions
1. All admission tickets to the Parks (“Admission Tickets”) shall be valid for one (1) visit to the relevant Park(s) on the purchase date or on the date stipulated on the Admission Tickets.
2. Admission Tickets may be for a single Park (“Single Park Tickets”) or multiple Parks (“Destination Passes”).
3. All Admission Tickets include complimentary tram services in the Parks (where available). Separate tickets and bookings may be required for the rides and activities in or around the Parks (“Activity Tickets”).
4. Only Admission Tickets and Activity Tickets (the “Tickets”) from authorised channels will be accepted. MWG reserves its right to void and/or refuse entry into the Parks, and/or participation in a ride or activity, in respect of any ticket that is procured from unauthorised channels, altered, tampered with, or defaced.
5. All children below the age of three (3) years old (as determined by the date of birth) may enter the Parks for free when accompanied by an adult above the age of twenty-one (21) years old (an “Adult”) holding an Admission Ticket to the same Parks. For Curiosity Cove, for a child below three (3) years old to enter the Parks for free, the Admission Ticket must be a 1A1C Ticket (as defined in Clause 11 below).
6. All Residents above the age of sixty (60) years old (“Senior Citizen”) shall be eligible to purchase Admission Tickets and selected Memberships (as defined below) at the Senior Citizen concession rate as found on the official MWG website at https://www.mandai.com/en.html (the “MWG Website”). For clarity, a “Resident” is a Singapore citizen, permanent resident, or a Guest holding an ICA-approved or MOM-approved pass with a valid FIN number (including holders of employment pass, student pass, work permit, or dependent pass). All other Guests are “Non-Residents”.
7. Guests with Tickets that are (a) complimentary, (b) for Residents, or (c) purchased at the Senior Citizen concession rate, may be required to produce proof of identity upon purchase of the Tickets and/or at the point of entry to the Parks.
8. Each Guest is limited to purchase, per online transaction, a maximum of (i) ten (10) tickets per age category for Single Park Tickets; or (ii) six (6) per age category for Destination Passes.
9. Where applicable, Guests with an Admission Ticket and/or Activity Ticket must reserve a visit and/or activity date and time during purchase via the Mandai ticketing website at https://www.mandai.com/en/ticketing/admission-and-rides/parks-selection.html (“Ticketing Page”).
10. For purchase(s) made onsite at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, an administrative fee of S$3.00 per transaction shall apply.
11. MWG may, in its sole discretion, vary the operating hours of any of the Parks, or close, stop or suspend any rides or activities, whether wholly or in part, without prior notice or reason.
12. MWG shall not be liable for any delays or cancellation or closure of the Parks or any presentations, animal appearances, restaurants, exhibits, features, or walking paths in or at any part of the Parks resulting from acts or occurrences beyond its control including without limitation to acts of God, regulations, or any governmental authority, war or national emergency, accident, fire, strikes, disturbance or industrial disputes, outbreak of diseases, or animal escapes.
Prices
1. All prices on the MWG website are in Singapore dollars and are subject to change until the Tickets and/or Packages (as hereinafter defined) (collectively, the “MWG Products”) are paid by the Guest in full.
2. Meal Packages and Tour Packages (each as hereinafter defined) (each a “Package” and collectively, the “Packages”), must be paid for by the Guest in full. Payment cannot be broken down into individual Package component prices.
3. All prices for the MWG Products are subject to change due to imposition of taxes or other charges of governmental authorities.
4. Upon successful payment of the MWG Products, such payment (in full or part) is non-refundable.
5. MWG reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to allow for refunds to be made in accordance with the method that payment was received. All appropriate refunds will be made through the Guest’s travel and/or tour agent if payment was made to MWG by the travel and/or tour agent. MWG is not responsible for the receipt of refund monies by Guests from their travel and/or tour agents.
6. Any requests or queries in relation to any or all MWG Products purchased from third parties should be referred to the relevant third parties.
Destination Passes
1. There are four (4) types of Destination Passes:
  1. 3 Attractions Destination Pass (30-Day);
  2. 5 Attractions Destination Pass (1-Day);
  3. 5 Attractions Destination Pass (5-Day); and
  4. 2 Attractions Destination Pass (5-Day).
2. Each Destination Pass is valid for one (1) visit to each of its included Parks (as the case may be), and does not include Activity Tickets.
3. Before any visit to Curiosity Cove and/or Night Safari, Guests must reserve an admission slot through the Ticketing Page with a visit date and time that falls within the validity period of the relevant Destination Pass (the “Validity Period”). Solely for Curiosity Cove Play Dates Bundles (3 or 6-sessions), the visit date and time may be reserved in advance via the Manage Booking portal at https://newmanagebooking.mandai.com/ (the “Manage Booking Portal”).
4. In respect of each 3 Attractions Destination Pass (30-Day):
  1. Only Residents are eligible to purchase a 3 Attractions Destination Pass (30-Day), which includes a Discover & Dine voucher pack.
  2. Admission to Curiosity Cove is included and fixed. The Guest may opt for either (a) Singapore Zoo and River Wonders, or (b) Bird Paradise and Rainforest Wild ASIA, as the two (2) other Parks to be included under the 3 Attractions Destination Pass (30-Day).
  3. The Validity Period is thirty (30) consecutive days, starting from and including the Guest’s first date of admission to one of the included Parks.
5. In respect of each 5 Attractions Destination Pass (1-Day):
  1. Only Non-Residents are eligible to purchase a 5 Attractions Destination Pass (1-Day).
  2. Admission to Bird Paradise, Night Safari, Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, and Rainforest Wild ASIA is included and fixed.
  3. The Validity Period is one (1) day, being the date of the Guest’s admission to one of the included Parks.
6. In respect of each 5 Attractions Destination Pass (5-Day):
  1. Only Non-Residents are eligible to purchase a 5 Attractions Destination Pass (5-Day).
  2. Admission to Bird Paradise, Night Safari, Singapore Zoo, River Wonders and Rainforest Wild ASIA is included and fixed.
  3. The Validity Period is five (5) consecutive days, starting from and including the Guest’s first date of admission to one of the included Parks.
7. Further terms and conditions for admission to Curiosity Cove are set out at Clause 11 below. Other terms and conditions for each Destination Pass may apply.
8. In respect of each 2 Attractions Destination Pass (5-Day):
  1. Only Non-Residents are eligible to purchase a 2 Attractions Destination Pass (5-Day).
  2. Admission to Night Safari is included and fixed. The Guest may select one (1) other Park within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve to be included under the 2 Attractions Destination Pass (5-Day).
  3. The Validity Period is five (5) consecutive days, starting from and including the Guest’s first date of admission to one of the included Parks.
Tour Packages
1. Subject to blackout dates and availability, MWG may, from time to time, offer tour packages for the Parks (the “Tour Packages”).
2. Unless otherwise stated, Tour Packages do not include Admission Tickets. Admission Tickets must be purchased separately.
3. Upon successful payment of a Tour Package, the payment (in full or part), is non-refundable, non-transferrable, and not for resale.
4. Unless otherwise stated, all Guests below the age of eighteen (18) years old must be supervised by an Adult at all times during a Tour Package.
5. Unless otherwise notified, all Tour Packages will commence as scheduled. Guests must arrive at the designated meeting point prior to the commencement time for their Tour Package. Guests who do not report at the designated meeting point shall be deemed to have forfeited their Tour Package.
6. For Guests who arrive after the commencement time for their Tour Package, MWG may in its sole discretion allow late Guests to join the remainder of their Tour Package. However, in such circumstances, components of their Tour Package that has been covered up to the point of the Guests’ late arrival will not be repeated, and the Guests will not be entitled to revisit those components.
7. As the Tour Packages may consist of MWG’s guides bringing the Guests through restricted zones, Guests must not take any form of photograph, video, or other digital media (“Media”) while in such restricted zones, unless Guests are expressly informed by MWG’s guides that such Media recording is allowed. In the event that Guests take any form of Media recording without being expressly informed that such Media recording is allowed, Guests must cooperate with MWG when Guests are informed that such Media, and all copies thereof, must be destroyed immediately.
8. Unless otherwise stated, the Tour Packages are not exclusive and different groups of Guests may be arranged to join the same Tour Packages.
9. In the unlikely event that the Tour Packages cannot be undertaken on the designated date and/or time due to adverse weather conditions, any unexpected conditions in the Parks, and/or conditions relating to the well-being of the animals, MWG reserves the right to reschedule the Tour Packages to another date and/or time, subject to applicable conditions, in its sole discretion.
10. To participate in the Backstage Pass: Manatee Mania and Backstage Pass: Penguin Encounters, Guests must (a) not be pregnant and, (b) be at least 1.2 metres in height.
11. Other terms and conditions specific to Tour Packages may apply.
Meal Packages
1. Subject to blackout dates and availability, MWG may, from time to time, offer meal packages in the Parks (the “Meal Packages”).
2. All Meal Packages cannot be re-sold, transferred or exchanged, either in whole or in part, for cash, cash-in-kind, or any other item.
3. Upon successful payment of a Meal Package, the payment (in full or part), is non-refundable.
4. MWG reserves the right to allocate seating at the respective food and beverage outlets in its sole discretion.
5. When a reservation for a Meal Package is made for a specific time for any number of Guests, all Guests making up the group of Guests must be present within fifteen (15) minutes of the specified time, otherwise the reservation shall be deemed cancelled.
6. Other terms and conditions specific to Meal Packages may apply.
Rental of Equipment
1. Subject to blackout dates and availability, MWG may, from time to time, offer the rental of equipment at the Parks for use in the Mandai Wildlife Reserve (the “Rental Equipment”). The Rental Equipment available for rental may vary across the Parks.
2. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, the specific terms and conditions for the rental of a particular Rental Equipment (where applicable), and the availability of the Rental Equipment, the Guests may rent the Rental Equipment from MWG during the operating hours of the Parks that the Guests are visiting.
3. The Rental Equipment that the Guests may rent from MWG can only be used within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, and Guests must not allow the Rental Equipment to leave the Mandai Wildlife Reserve.
4. Where damage is caused to the Rental Equipment, parts of the Rental Equipment become lost or the Rental Equipment is not returned to MWG, the Guest shall reimburse, in full, the cost of procuring a replacement Rental Equipment that is of the same or better quality than the damaged Rental Equipment.
5. The Guest shall also indemnify, defend and hold MWG and any of its directors, officers, agents, shareholders, employees and contractors (the “Indemnified Parties”) harmless from and against any and all allegations, claims, demands, causes of action, damages, costs (including but not limited to costs of investigation, legal fees on a full indemnity basis and other third-party fees and, to the extent permitted by law, fines, penalties and forfeitures in connection with any proceedings against the Indemnified Parties), expenses, penalties, losses and liabilities of any nature (whether under a theory of negligence, strict liability, contract or otherwise) incurred or to be incurred by or claimed against the Indemnified Parties, including any allegation, action or proceeding raised or brought, arising from, in connection with, relating to, or as a result of (a) any accident, injury, death, loss, or damage whatsoever to any person or to the property of any person, including the persons employed and the property managed by MWG and all persons in or at the premises managed by MWG as shall occur due to the Guest’s usage of the Rental Equipment, (b) any act or omission whatsoever on the Guest’s part or on the part of any person under the Guest’s care, control, and/or custody, or (c) any negligence, wrongful act or omission of the Indemnified Parties.
6. Strollers can only be rented to carry one (1) child below the age of three (3) years old, and under the weight of 15 kg.
7. Wagons can only be rented to carry a maximum of two (2) children, both of whom must be below the age of six (6) years old, and both of whom must not weigh above a combined weight of 35 kg.
8. Personal Mobility Aids cannot be rented to Guests who weigh more than 150 kg, pregnant Guests, or Guests who are below the age of sixteen (16) years old.
9. Other terms and conditions specific to Rental Equipment may apply.
Singapore Zoo Carousel
1. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, and subject to availability, children below the height of 107 cm must be accompanied by an Adult on the Singapore Zoo Carousel (the “Carousel”). Accompanying Guests may participate in the Carousel ride without charge.
2. Any Guest riding on the Carousel must be below the weight of 77 kg.
3. Guests who are pregnant, afflicted with physical conditions that might impede movement, are prone to motion sickness or dizziness, or are feeling unwell must not ride on the Carousel.
4. Other terms and conditions specific to the Carousel may apply.
River Wonders Amazon River Quest Boat Ride
1. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, and also subject to availability, children above the height of 106 cm may ride on the River Wonders Amazon River Quest Boat Ride (the “River Quest”).
2. Guests who are pregnant, afflicted with physical conditions that might impede movement, suffering from any form of heart or blood pressure condition, or suffering from any form of back or neck condition must not ride on the River Quest.
3. Other terms and conditions specific to the River Quest may apply.
Rainforest Wild ASIA Black Adventures
1. All Guests must arrive at the designated meeting point to check-in for the Wild Apex Adventure (“Apex Adventure”) and/or Wild Cavern Adventure (“Cavern Adventure”) at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to the commencement time stated in the adventure booking. Guests who do not check-in by the stipulated time shall be deemed to have forfeited their adventure booking.
2. During check-in, each Guest must complete a “Waiver and Consent Form” onsite. A parent or legal guardian must complete the “Waiver and Consent Form” for Guests who are under the age of twenty-one (21) years old (by date of birth).
3. Guests must fulfil the following criteria:
  1. height — between 1.35m and 2.10m;
  2. weight — between 20kg and 120kg;
  3. must be able to fit securely into all safety equipment provided; and
  4. for Cavern Adventure only, must be able to pass through a 45cm wide passageway.
4. Guests who have/are pre-existing health or medical conditions; frail or brittle-boned; recovering from surgery or afflicted with physical conditions that might impede movement; suffering from any form of heart or blood pressure condition; pregnant; and/or susceptible to panic or anxiety attacks are not allowed to participate in the Apex Adventure and/or Cavern Adventure.

Rainforest Wild ASIA Adventure Plus
1. Canopy Jump
  1. Guests must complete a “Waiver and Consent Form” onsite. A parent or legal guardian must complete the “Waiver and Consent Form” for Guests who are under the age of twenty-one (21) years old (by date of birth).
  2. Guests must fulfil the following criteria:
    1. height — between 1.35m and 2.10m;
    2. weight — between 20kg and 120kg;
    3. must be able to fit securely into the harness provided; and
    4. must be able to climb and descend ladders and walk on uneven terrain without any assistance.
  3. Guests who have/are pre-existing health or medical conditions; frail or brittle-boned; recovering from surgery or afflicted with physical conditions that might impede movement; suffering from any form of heart or blood pressure condition; pregnant; and/or susceptible to panic or anxiety attacks are not allowed to participate in the Canopy Jump.
  4. Other terms and conditions specific to the Canopy Jump apply.
2. AIA Vitality Bounce
  1. Guests must complete a “Waiver and Consent Form” onsite. A parent or legal guardian must complete the “Waiver and Consent Form” for Guests who are under the age of twenty-one (21) years old (by date of birth).
  2. Guests must fulfil the following criteria:
    1. minimum height — 0.9m; and
    2. maximum weight — 120kg;
  3. Children between 0.9m and 1.35m must be accompanied by an Adult.
  4. Guests who have/are pre-existing health or medical conditions; frail or brittle-boned; recovering from surgery or afflicted with physical conditions that might impede movement; suffering from any form of heart or blood pressure condition; pregnant; and/or susceptible to panic or anxiety attacks are not allowed to participate in the AIA Vitality Bounce.
  5. Other terms and conditions specific to the AIA Vitality Bounce apply.
Curiosity Cove
1. Admission Terms
  1. Admission to Curiosity Cove is strictly limited to the stipulated session date and time stated on the Admission Tickets. No amendments, extensions, or rescheduling of session dates and/or times will be permitted.
  2. To enter Curiosity Cove, a base Admission Ticket (“1A1C Ticket”), which admits one (1) child aged three (3) to twelve (12) years old (and one (1) Adult on a complimentary basis), is required. All additional tickets must be purchased as an add-on to the 1A1C Ticket; add-ons are restricted to one (1) additional child ticket only, but may be for multiple additional adult tickets. For specific Admission Ticket combinations, please refer to the FAQs page at https://www.mandai.com/en/faq.html.
  3. No exchange or replacement of Admission Ticket holders during a session is allowed.
  4. Guests must be in good health prior to entering Curiosity Cove and during the session. MWG reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any Guest who appears unwell or exhibits any ill symptoms or discomfort.
  5. Guests must wear grip socks within the Curiosity Cove play areas at all times. Walking bare feet or with any footwear is strictly prohibited.
  6. Guests are required to comply with all house rules, instructions provided by MWG employees, and safety guidelines displayed within Curiosity Cove.
2. Accompaniment and Supervision
  1. Adults (as defined in Clause 1.5 above) are fully responsible for the safety and well-being of the children under their care throughout the session. Children must be supervised by an Adult at all times. In addition, Adults must accompany children who are under their care and under the age of six (6) years old throughout the session.
  2. Each Adult may supervise a maximum of two (2) children per session.
3. Session Validity
  1. Each session lasts for the duration stated on the relevant Admission Ticket (e.g., 1 hour or 2 hours). The session begins at the start time shown on the Admission Ticket. Late arrivals will not be granted any time extensions.
  2. Additional one (1) hour play extensions may be purchased onsite through one of our Indoor Attractions crew, subject to capacity and MWG’s sole and absolute discretion.
  3. For Play Dates Bundles, all sessions must be utilised within the following validity periods:
    1. 3-Session Play Dates Bundle: three (3) months from the first visit date selected during purchase; and
    2. Session Play Dates Bundle: six (6) months from the first visit date selected during purchase.
4. Any unused entries after the relevant validity period will be forfeited, strictly with no refunds or extensions.
Upgrade of Admission Ticket to Membership
1. Admission Tickets that are purchased through the MWG Website are eligible for an upgrade to any of our memberships found here: https://www.mandai.com/en/memberships.html (“Eligible Memberships”), subject to the following terms and conditions:
  1. A copy of the Admission Tickets must be presented onsite at one of our Guest & Member Services Centres located at Bird Paradise and Singapore Zoo.
  2. Upgrades must be applied for and processed on the same day as the visit date stipulated on the Admission Ticket.
  3. Tickets purchased through third party channels, complimentary tickets, corporate tickets and selected promotional tickets are not eligible for an upgrade to an Eligible Membership.
  4. The type of Admission Tickets used for a membership upgrade must correspond to the respective membership type that is being purchased, and the number of Admission Tickets combined must not exceed the number of individuals in the selected membership type. For example:
    1. An adult Admission Ticket may only be used to upgrade to an Eligible Membership that is for, or includes, an adult or teenager.
    2. For an Eligible Membership for the family package of 2 adults and 5 children, conversions, a maximum of 2 adult and 5 child tickets may be used.
    3. For an upgrade to an Eligible Membership for an individual adult, only one (1) Admission Ticket for an adult may be used — an Admission Ticket for a child is not eligible, and two (2) adult Admission Tickets cannot be used together.
  5. The membership fees payable to upgrade an Admission Ticket to an Eligible Membership is the difference between the value of the Eligible Membership that is being applied for and the combined value of the Admission Tickets used for the upgrade, provided that the combined Admission Ticket value does not exceed the applicable membership fees. If the combined Admission Ticket value exceeds the value of the Eligible Membership, the number of Admission Tickets being combined must be reduced.
2. Activity Tickets are not eligible for upgrade to a Membership. Please refer to Membership Help Centre for more information.
Conduct in the Mandai Wildlife Reserve
1. Guests shall comply with the Parks Rules and Conditions on conduct in the Mandai Wildlife Reserve found at https://www.mandai.com/en/plan-your-visit/parks-rules-conditions.html.
MWG’s liability
1. MWG’s indemnity and waiver of liability policy may be found at https://www.mandai.com/en/plan-your-visit/parks-rules-conditions.html.
Privacy and Data Protection
1. MWG’s Personal Data Protection Policy may be found at https://www.mandai.com/en/about-mandai/our-policies/data-protection.html.
Modification to Terms and Conditions
1. MWG reserves the right to (i) amend, alter, supplement, or vary the Terms and Conditions, (ii) change the ticket prices and validity, (iii) change any block-out dates, and (iv) terminate or suspend the availability and validity of any offer, discount, or promotion, in each case, at any time and from time to time without prior notice to the Guest.
Governing law
1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
  1. Any dispute, controversy claim or difference arising out of or in connection with this Agreement or the breach, termination or invalidity thereof (the “Dispute”) shall be settled, in good faith and so far as it is possible, through direct negotiations within fourteen (14) days from the time the Dispute arose.
  2. If direct negotiations fail, the parties shall submit such Dispute to the Singapore Mediation Centre (the “SMC”) for mediation in accordance with its prevailing prescribed form, rules and procedures. Either party may submit a request to mediate to the SMC upon which the other party will be bound to participate in the mediation within forty-five (45) days thereof. Every party to the mediation must be represented by senior executive personnel, of at least the seniority of a Head of Department or its equivalent, with authority to negotiate and settle the dispute. Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the mediator will be appointed by the SMC. The mediation will take place in Singapore in the English language and the parties agree to participate the mediation in good faith and be bound by any settlement agreement reached.
  3. If settlement cannot be reached during mediation, the Dispute(s) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
