Admission rates for Singapore-based educational institutions to Mandai Wildlife Reserve are for:

  • Local schools
  • Locally-based international schools
  • Child/student care centres
  • Local junior colleges (JCs)
  • Institute of Technical Education (ITE)
  • Local polytechnics
  • Local universities

These rates are only available on weekdays, and are not available on weekends and public holidays.

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility and Verification
  • To qualify for the school rates, prior registration via the Registration Form/purchase of tickets via the Education Portal is mandatory.
  • Students must wear their official school uniform or school T-shirt for the school rates to be applicable on the day of the visit. If the school do not have any uniform/t-shirt, a lanyard or any other form of identification to verify they are from the school must be worn
  • School rates are not applicable for private events, including but not limited to family days.
  • School recce visits require registration at least two (2) weeks in advance to qualify for school rates. This two-week notice period excludes weekends and public holidays.
Ticket Types and Complimentary Admission
  • Children below 3 years of age receive free admission on the day of the park visit.
  • For Wildlife Park Attractions - For every ten (10) paying students, one (1) adult will receive complimentary admission (a 10:1 ratio).
    • This 10:1 complimentary ratio does not apply to tuition centres, enrichment centres, polytechnics, or universities.
  • For Indoor Park Attractions - For every ten (10) students, one (1) adult will pay $3.00 (a 10:1 ratio).
    • This 10:1 complimentary ratio does not apply to tuition centres and enrichment centres.
Park Services and Add-Ons
  • Complimentary tram or shuttle service (where applicable) for Singapore Zoo and Bird Paradise is included with the admission ticket.
  • Additional experiences, such as the Amazon River Quest and Carousel, are optional and may be purchased separately.
    • A minimum height of 1.06m is required for any child to ride the Amazon River Quest. Full details are available on our website.
General Conditions
  • All prices are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of GST. Prices are correct at the point of communication but are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Park tickets are valid for one full day. Guests may exit and re-enter the park on the same day by presenting their admission ticket or delivery order at the entry gate.

Safety
Yes, each attraction has first aid stations staffed with trained medical personnel. Locations of these stations can be found on Parks/Attraction Maps.
In the event of an emergency, you may approach any uniformed staff or call +65 6100 0694.
Wild macaques in our parks associate baby prams and plastic bags with food. These macaques are not part of the animal population under our care. If you encounter them, please remain calm, keep all food out of sight, and walk away. Should you require assistance, please call +65 6269 3411.

For the safety of both guests and animals, the consumption of food and drinks is not allowed during presentations.

Animal feeding programmes are offered at Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari, and Bird Paradise. To book, select the programme as an add-on purchase on the ticketing page. All payments for these experiences must be made online at the time of booking.

Note: There are currently no animal feeding sessions available at Rainforest Wild ASIA.

While presentations at Singapore Zoo and Bird Paradise do not require seat booking, the Once Upon A River presentation at River Wonders and the Creatures of the Night presentation at Night Safari require booking online.

Our presentations are a complimentary part of your admission experience.
Presentations may be shortened or cancelled in the event of rain or other unsuitable weather conditions.
They can enjoy the Treetop Play in Kidzworld, Singapore Zoo, where they can climb and explore, or they can have a splashing good time at the water play areas: Splish Splash at Singapore Zoo and Egg Splash at Bird Paradise!
Booking (Free & Easy & General Programmes)
Admission is free for children under the age of 3. For verification purposes, you will need to send a consolidated list of their names and corresponding birthdates to our email address within 10 business days from the point of your registration.
Members using a Family Membership for complimentary admission should proceed directly to the entrance to scan their e-pass. If parents are not attending, they must provide the teacher-in-charge with an e-membership copy (QR code and picture visible) on the day of the visit.
You may conduct a recce trip to your selected park during its regular opening hours on weekdays. The admission rate for this is $23.00 per adult, and you will need to make a registration at least 3 workings days before your recce.
The Coach Bay is our sole designated area for students to board or alight from school buses.

No, programme fees do not include admission.
All programmes at Mandai Wildlife Reserve are conducted within our park grounds, requiring access through the main entrance. 

Yes, the programme listing will indicate the minimum pax required for each programme.

If your group size falls below the minimum pax, you will be required to cover the difference by paying for the additional students needed to meet it.

Indoor programmes are usually held at their respective parks’ learning centres. Guided tours will be held on-site at their respective exhibits.

Our staff will take the necessary precaution of guiding your group to the nearest shelter.

If the weather continues to be unsuitable, we may adjust the programme to provide a more appropriate experience. We highly recommend that all participants bring their own rain gear.

About Bird Paradise

You are welcome to enjoy your meals and snacks anywhere in Bird Paradise, with the exception of the eight walk-in aviaries. Please help us keep the area clean by disposing of all litter in the litter bins.

Yes, Bird Paradise is designed to be fully wheelchair-accessible, with seamless movement between most zones.

About Curiosity Cove

At Curiosity Cove, families will be enveloped in an indoor nature setting that is accessible for young children at a scale, pace and level of interaction that inculcates an early love for nature and wildlife through tactile play.

From the woodlands where arboreal flora and fauna thrive, to the river of life in the wetlands – a series of multimedia-enriched sensory adventures encourage discovery by cultivating cognitive, social, motor and locomotor skills against an immersive indoor playscape.

Strollers and wagons are not allowed past the gated barrier of Curiosity Cove. You may park your stroller at the designated stroller parking area located at (to be updated). 
Yes. Sheltered walkways are available from Mandai Wildlife East's multi-story carpark, pick-up/drop-off points and transport hub.
Our educational resources and Video Guides are designed for both parents and teachers. They are a great way to familiarise yourself with the new Curiosity Cove before your trip, and help enrich any learning journey!
Come dressed in comfortable clothing for easy movement. Avoid sharp, loose or dangling accessories that could pose a choking hazard or get caught on equipment. Grip socks are required - don’t fret if you haven't got a pair - they are easily available at the attraction's entrance.
For safety and hygiene, no food is permitted inside. Drinks with covered lids are allowed into the attraction.
Curiosity Cove is designed for children aged 3 to 12. All children are to be supervised by a guardian throughout the visit, while children below the age of 6 are to be accompanied by a guardian.

For hygiene purposes, shoes are not allowed to be worn past the admission gantry, and are to be hand-carried and placed at the shoe racks within the attraction before entry.

For school groups, designated boxes will be provided for students to place their shoes in. Our staff will then securely transport this box to the exit area for collection before you exit.

This is to enhance safety by providing better traction on smooth surfaces, reducing the risk of slips and falls, and improving overall stability during play. This also maintains hygiene by minimising the spread of germs and protecting feet from potential hazards.

Curiosity Cove Grip Socks are included in the admission fee and are mandatory for all visitors entering Curiosity Cove (including those with complimentary admission).

These socks provide better traction on smooth surfaces, reducing the risk of slips and falls, and improve overall stability during play. They also maintain hygiene by minimising the spread of germs and protecting feet from potential hazards!

Note: For general admission, a supervising adult admission is charged at $3.00 per person for every ten (10) students (10:1 ratio), except for tuition/enrichment centres. This $3.00 charge covers the mandatory purchase of grip socks for that adult.

Curiosity Cove's specially designed grip socks fit child feet sizes 2-5, 7-10 and adult feet sizes 35-40, 41-46. Please refer to the sizing chart and samples prior to purchase as, due to hygiene reasons, no exchanges are allowed.
For safety & hygiene purposes, we provide slippers placed on a shoe rack outside of the restrooms for guests to use. Please return the slippers to the designated shoe rack after use.

Yes. There are diaper-changing stations in each of the restrooms. Nursing rooms are also located within Curiosity Cove, at Forestlands and Drylands.

About Mandai Boardwalk

Mandai Boardwalk is a scenic 3.3-kilometre-long boardwalk skirting the perimeter of River Wonders and Singapore Zoo.

It offers visitors unparalleled views across the Upper Seletar Reservoir and an opportunity to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying stunning views of the surrounding wildlife reserves.

No, advance booking is not required for schools visiting the Mandai Boardwalk as it is a free, publicly accessible area.

While walking along the Mandai Boardwalk, it's important to: 

  • Wear comfortable footwear suitable for walking.
  • Carry water to stay hydrated, especially on hot days.
  • Follow the boardwalk rules to preserve the natural environment.
  • Be mindful of wildlife and avoid feeding or disturbing the animals.

Operating hours: Daily, 6:30pm to 12:00 am

Last admission is at 11:15pm.

First tram departure is at 7:15 pm

Note: Some food and gift shops may open earlier at 5:30 pm.

Take a complimentary tram ride to see a wide range of animals in their habitats or explore the four different walking trails to see more animals up close.

Arriving by the first admission time (around 7:15 PM) allows time for presentations and trails, though the earliest tram rides can be crowded.

For a less busy experience, consider a later tram or explore walking trails first.

A typical visit lasts around 2-4 hours, covering the tram ride, walking trails, and the animal presentation.
Outside food and drinks are not allowed, but dining options like Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant are available.
