This action-packed aviary recreates the much-loved Lory Loft of Jurong Bird Park. The chattering, shrieks and whistles of lories, lorikeets and cockatoos ring loud as you enter their domain.

Charm Overload
Native to Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Polynesia and Australia, lories and lorikeets are small-sized parrots that live in tropical and subtropical forests.
To help them settle in, Lory Loft is styled after the monsoon forest of Papua, complete with suspension bridges and ethnic Papuan-themed treehouses. Our birds form playful and curious flocks that enliven the landscape and charm our guests.
Impromptu Bird Baths
Observe how these social birds squabble at the feeders and fight to get that choice morsel. If luck is on your side, you may catch them taking cool dips at our watering troughs to rid their feathers of grime and parasites.
While bathing, their wings are stretched out to reveal hidden colours. They end off with a satisfying shake, scattering water droplets every which way.
Spark a Feeding Frenzy
Get real close to the lories and lorikeets at our token feeding sessions. Hold up your nectar and fruit cup to coax them to come. They may descend in a flurry of feathers or choose to perch on your wrist or shoulder.
Up close, observe how their brush-tipped tongues eagerly lap up your sweet treat. Such fun sparking a feeding frenzy!
Animals
Luzon Hornbill
This diminutive hornbill is restricted to Luzon and nearby islands in the Philippines. Males and females look different, with males being mostly pale while females are entirely black.
Umbrella Cockatoo
This endangered cockatoo from Northern Moluccas, Indonesia, is so named as it has a crest that looks like an umbrella when erected, which happens when the bird is excited or alarmed.
Western Crowned-Pigeon
Crowned with a lacy crest, this massive pigeon lives in West Papua, Indonesia. It feeds on fruits and insects on the forest floor during the day and roosts in trees at night.
