Two Dining Enclaves, Endless Options — at Mandai Wildlife EAST

Mandai Wildlife EAST is home to not one but two distinct dining enclaves, so you're spoilt for choice before you've even crossed to the other side of the reserve.

Start at Food Village, where Food Republic anchors the space. With its signature thematic experience that transports diners back to the hawker streets of the 1970s accented with subtle nods to the early days of Singapore Zoo. The space also features life-sized facades of three-storey shophouses, complete with 1970s signage and realistic recreations that evoke the sights and atmosphere of that era. You will find over 20 carefully curated stalls bringing together top heritage hawker favourites, legacy recipes, and well-loved local brands — all under one roof. Think comforting classics and time-honoured flavours served in a lively, buzzing atmosphere. Open daily, 8am to 9pm.

Just a few steps away, Dining Alley offers a more leisurely sit-down experience with popular restaurant options including Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine, Roberta’s, Watami Japanese Restaurant, Song Fa Bak Kut Teh, and Sushiro. Whether you're after a hearty bowl of peppery soup or fresh Japanese fare, there's something here to hit the spot.
