Caretaker Membership Terms & Conditions
New Memberships from 31 Oct 2025
Friends of Mandai Starter / Friends of Mandai Premium / Friends Rainforest Wild ASIA
- Effective 31 October 2025, a caretaker membership (“Caretaker Membership”) can only be purchased in conjunction with a valid family package under a Friends of Mandai Starter Membership, Friends of Mandai Premium Membership, or Friends of Rainforest Wild ASIA Membership (each, a “Family Membership”). Only one (1) Caretaker Membership may be purchased with each Family Membership.
- The Caretaker Membership is offered at a concessionary rate and must be applied for in person at one of our Guest & Member Services Centres located at Bird Paradise and Singapore Zoo within two (2) months from the date of application for the corresponding Family Membership. Application requests for a Caretaker Membership beyond this period will not be entertained.
- A valid Family Membership e-card must be presented when applying for a Caretaker Membership.
- The Caretaker Membership must correspond to the same membership tier as the associated Family Membership under which it is purchased.
- A Caretaker Membership is non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- These Caretaker Membership terms and conditions may be supplemented, amended or terminated without prior notice at our sole and absolute discretion. In the event of a dispute, Mandai Wildlife Group’s decision will be final.
Existing Memberships before 31 Oct 2025
Friends of Mandai / Friends of Mandai Plus / Friends Rainforest Wild ASIA / Friends of Wildlife / Friends of Wildlife Plus
- From 12 Feb 2025, the Friends of Wildlife membership will no longer be available for new sign-ups. Caretaker membership is only applicable with a pre-existing Friends of Mandai, Friends of Mandai Plus and Friends of Rainforest Wild ASIA Family membership and only one Caretaker membership may be tagged to each Family membership.
- The application for the Caretaker membership at a concessionary rate must be made onsite and within two (2) months from the date of purchase of the Family membership. No extensions are allowed.
- Application must be made in person at our Guest & Member Services Centres or Night Safari Reception Counter. Present the existing Family membership e-card upon application.
- Purchase of the Caretaker membership at a concessionary rate is applicable for existing family membership and only one (1) adult member of the said family membership can nominate one (1) individual as a Caretaker.
- The Caretaker membership purchased must be of the same membership type as the existing Family membership.
- The Caretaker membership purchased at a concessionary rate of an Individual membership is non-refundable nor exchangeable for cash.
- Mandai Wildlife Group reserves the right at any time to vary, modify, amend, add or delete the terms and conditions of the caretaker discount without prior notice.
