There are several free-to-visit areas around Mandai Wildlife Reserve, Mandai Wildlife WEST, Mandai Wildlife EAST and Mandai Boardwalk.

We will be launching the upcoming indoor attractions within Mandai Wildlife Reserve – Stay tuned for more information! 

In the meantime, discover our current wildlife parks and attractions. 

There are several options to see and do at our free-to-visit public spaces, from chancing upon the “Mother & Child” pangolin sculpture and enjoying scenic walks on the Mandai Boardwalk at Mandai Wildlife EAST to dining or enjoying a quick respite at Mandai Wildlife WEST.

While there are no official opening hours to Mandai Wildlife EAST and Mandai Wildlife WEST, Mandai Boardwalk itself opens from 7:00am to 7:00pm with the last entry at 6:00pm.
About Mandai Boardwalk

Mandai Boardwalk is a scenic 3.3-kilometer-long boardwalk skirting the perimeter of River Wonders and Singapore Zoo.

It offers visitors unparalleled views across the Upper Seletar Reservoir and an opportunity to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying stunning views of the surrounding wildlife reserves.

At the Mandai Boardwalk, visitors can: 

  • Enjoy leisurely strolls with views of nature.
  • Spot local flora and fauna, such as birds and plants.
  • Engage in nature photography.
  • Experience nature and learn about the area's biodiversity.
  • Visit nearby attractions like Singapore ZooNight Safari, or River Wonders.

Mandai Boardwalk is open from 7:00am – 7:00pm; last entry at 6:00pm.

A leisurely walk along the 3.3-kilometre boardwalk typically takes around 70 to 85 minutes.
Visitors may want to take more time to enjoy the surroundings and explore various points of interest along the way.

No, the Mandai Boardwalk is free to access. Fees may apply if you visit any of the nearby attractions, such as the Singapore ZooRiver Wonders, or Night Safari.

The nearest washroom / family room is located at River Wonders’ entrance. As the Mandai Boardwalk takes approximately 70 to 85 minutes to explore, we recommend using the facilities before beginning your walk.

Yes, you may bring and consume your own food. However, please refrain from feeding the wildlife and ensure the area is left clean after use.

Kindly avoid littering, whether into the reservoir or anywhere along the boardwalk, to help preserve the environment.

For the safety of wildlife and other visitors, pets are not allowed on the Mandai Boardwalk.

Yes, the Mandai Boardwalk is wheelchair accessible with wide, smooth pathways.

Cycling and skating are not allowed on the Mandai Boardwalk for the safety of other visitors.

Visitors are encouraged to walk leisurely and enjoy the surroundings.

For the safety of wildlife and other visitors, fishing is not allowed on the Mandai Boardwalk.

While walking along the Mandai Boardwalk, it's important to: 

  • Wear comfortable footwear suitable for walking. Carry water to stay hydrated, especially on hot days.
  • Follow the boardwalk rules to preserve the natural environment.
  • Be mindful of wildlife and avoid feeding or disturbing the animals.
  • Seek shelter during adverse weather conditions.
  • Carry umbrellas or raincoats in case of rain.
  • Do not feed any of the wildlife.
  • Stay on the boardwalk; Do not climb over the railings / fencing.
  • No bicycles, tricycles, skateboards, scooters, rollerbladers, skates or airwheel luggages.
