Interspersed with the world of Mermicorno are River Safari’s own mermaids – the manatees! Be mesmerised by the beauty and grace of the mermaids of myth, and join the daily River Trail Encounters.
Get privileged behind-the-scenes access with River Safari’s new tours too! Go up close and personal with the manatees in the Manatee Mania tour, feed them their favourite vegetables, participate in their target training and see if you can spot River Safari’s animal icon, Canola the manatee. Alternatively, opt for the Amazing Amazonia tour to feed and learn more about piranhas, electric eels and stingrays, and discard your fears about these often misunderstood unique creatures.
