Joining in the celebration will be Red River Hogs, one of the most beautiful pig species, and Babirusas, the charismatic toothy pigs from Sulawesi. Over at Jurong Bird Park, look out for the Cape Barren Goose and hear its distinctive deep, pig-like grunt which gives rise to its colloquial name, the Pig Goose.
Aside from the many species of pigs sending out their New Year greetings, a host of fun-filled activities and special retail and F&B promotions await guests to the wildlife parks during the Lunar New Year period, outlined below.
For more information on our Lunar New Year activities, please visit www.wildcny.sg (website will be ‘live’ from 18 January).
