Standing tall at around one metre with a massive wingspan of two metres, the Philippine Eagle is one of the world’s rarest raptors, with approximately 400 pairs remaining in the wild. Jurong Bird Park is currently home to a male and female pair in a first-ever conservation breeding programme outside of the birds’ native Philippines. And in commemoration of 50 years of friendship between Singapore and the Philippines, local residents and Filipino residents enjoy 50 per cent off a pair of full-priced admission tickets.
The Philippine Eagle is not the only bird of prey in the park. Guests can catch the daily Kings of the Skies show and witness other formidable predators such as the hooded vulture, Harris’ hawk, and the white-bellied sea eagle, demonstrating their predatory skills as they swoop down fast and furious to snatch their prey.
Feast on delectable Filipino cuisine (from renowned Jollibee, Leslie’s Restaurant and more) and groove to traditional songs and dances from the Philippines. Additionally, bring the family down for an exclusive first-ever Pinkfong Baby Shark concert at the park! Go on a wild adventure with as they learn about the different animals that live in the jungle.
