This April, Jurong Bird Park’s signature Easter event returns with a line-up of themed activities for families featuring an egg hunt, a Whimsical Wonderland Maze, a community art installation and workshop.

Jurong Bird Park’s largest walk-in aviary, the Waterfall Aviary, will transform into an Egg-chanted Forest for an Instagram-worthy Easter Egg hunt. Search for the coloured eggs scattered across the naturalistic rainforest setting home to 400 free-flying birds such as the Roseate Spoonbill and White Ibis.  Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Golden Egg and be one of two lucky guests every day to take home a special prize of assorted merchandise including pins and keychain plushies. Take a break from the hunt and take part in the all-new Keeper Talk segment. Watch the Scarlet Macaws descend at the sound of a keeper’s whistle and engage with the keepers during the interactive session as they share intriguing facts and anecdotes about the animals.

Head over to the Birdz of Play and navigate the twists and turns of the Whimsical Wonderland Maze. Pop by the Penguin Coast to meet our colony of penguins and enjoy the sustainable art pieces made by the beneficiaries of Extra•Ordinary People[1].  At the Feathered Friends’ Forest Workshop, create your own artwork for display at the special community art exhibition. Families can also engage in other craft activities at the Songbird Terrace to make their own Easter hat and egg baskets.

Take a mid-day break and enjoy our delectable Easter brunch at the Flamingo Lodge. Tuck into a sumptuous meal of Eggs Florentine or herbs and cheese scrambled eggs on buttered toast while admiring the view of our flamboyance of Greater Flamingos.
