Night Safari’s Twilight Encounters returns with a celebration of the
planet’s incredible oddballs and themed activities every Friday and Saturday
night from 15 Nov – 28 Dec 2019, as well as Christmas Eve and Day.

Although the Sunda pangolin and southern three-banded armadillo are found in different parts of the world—the former in Southeast Asia and the latter in South America—they share a common trait of curling themselves up completely into a ball of armour to ward off predators when defending themselves, which explains why they’ve been fondly dubbed oddballs!
Begin your twilight adventure at the Fishing Cat Trail’s new Explorer Outpost, where you can discover more about these two especially curious creatures and what makes them super survivors of the night, during select Keeper Talk sessions. Every session is a surprise and will feature different animal ambassadors, including the binturong, serval and other nocturnal residents. Hear about their fascinating characteristics and stories from the people who know them best, their dedicated keepers.
For those who are up for a challenge, embark on an Oddballs Odyssey, a first ever Lockdown Singapore escape game in Night Safari to find our ‘missing’ baby Asian elephant Neha. The oddballs will guide you along as you navigate puzzles along the walking trails in your search for Neha.
For an extra-special wild night out, treat yourself with a Safari Adventure Tour – Twilight Encounters Edition. Get the VIP treatment and discover Night Safari’s best kept secrets on a buggy ride. Learn about the oddball characteristics of the southern three-banded armadillo and Sunda pangolin at the Fishing Cat Trail. Oddballs Odyssey – By Lockdown Singapore
Night Safari’s baby Asian elephant Neha has gone ‘missing’! Form a team of up to 5 and solve puzzles along the walking trails to find Neha!
