Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, an integrated nature and wildlife destination in northern Singapore home to the Bird Paradise, Night Safari, River Wonders and Singapore Zoo.
The two-year strategic partnership will see JTB and Mandai Wildlife Group team up on marketing and promotional campaigns to promote the destination, as well as design specially curated itineraries to meet the diverse preferences of Japanese travellers. A focus of the MoU is to create experiences that also foster awareness of wildlife conservation and sustainability. Itineraries will be developed to promote living consciously by sharing various ways that the parks incorporate sustainable practices every day, like having sustainably sourced meals in their menus. As a long-time partner of Mandai Wildlife Group, JTB has contributed to the care of animals at Singapore’s wildlife parks since 2016 through their symbolic adoption of Neha, an Asian elephant born in Night Safari. JTB is extending their contribution from April 2024 with another adoption - this time, an orangutan at Singapore Zoo named Suria.
The MoU will begin in April 2024 until March 2026.
