Here, you might catch your first thrilling glimpse of our majestic Malayan tigers, prowling gracefully amid the dense foliage of their naturalistic habitat.

Also called the Asian forest or mountain tortoise, the Asian brown tortoise is mainland Asia’s largest tortoise, weighing up to 25kg in the wild and even more under human care.

These critically endangered, slow, solitary creatures are most active at twilight, spending their days burrowing in damp soil or soaking in shallow pools.

Despite their shy nature, they communicate using head bobs and vocalisations, showcasing unique social behaviour.

As Southeast Asia’s smallest hoofed mammal, the lesser mousedeer measures just under 50cm from head to body, and can be distinguished by white stripes flanking a triangular pattern on their chin and throat.

Unlike horned deer, males sport protruding upper canine teeth. As seed dispersers, these shy creatures play an essential role in the ecosystem, supporting forest regeneration and food chains.
