Jurong Bird Park will open only on Thursdays to Sundays, as well as the eve of Public Holidays and Public Holidays. The park will also remain open during selected school holidays. For latest updates, visit our park announcement page. 

Schools are advised to pre-register your visit one month before. Mask wearing is optional in our parks. Dining-in at F&B outlets is allowed only for vaccinated persons as well as unvaccinated persons 12 years and under. Checks may be done to ensure compliance. Schools are required to reserve seats online for our shows at Night Safari and River Wonders.

School Admission Rates

The admission rate of $2.50 per student or teacher/parent volunteer to Jurong Bird Park is applicable only to local schools and educational institutions (Junior Colleges, ITEs) from 1 September 2022, for a limited period only. 
Students visiting Jurong Bird Park must be in school uniform / t-shirt. Complimentary admission for teachers/parent volunteers based on 10:1 (student-adult ratio) is NOT applicable for the special admission rate.

  • Admission for child below 3 years old is free. To enjoy free admission, school groups are to pre-register with Education Department, providing the names and birth dates of the students

  • Park tickets are valid for one full day. 
  • Visitors can exit and re-enter the park on the same day by presenting their park ticket and re-entry stamp provided by our staff at the exit.

  • Yes, the programme listing will indicate the minimum pax required for each programme
  • If you're keen to continue with less than the min. pax, you will still need to pay for the additional ghost pax (number needed to attain the min amount)
  • Indoor programmes are usually held at the Bird Discovery Centre or other equivalent indoor locations.
  • Guided tours will be held on-site at the respective exhibits
  • If your total amount exceeds the minimum required for an ITQ, then a Gebiz is needed. Do check with the school's admin manager.

  • Our staff will take the necessary precautions and head towards the nearest shelter with the group
  • You are still strongly advised to bring your own rain gear, and to plan for a wet-weather scenario

    Yes, you can bring your own snacks and refreshments. Please note that external caterer deliveries are not allowed into the park, so do make arrangements for your own meal delivery and pick up at the pick-up point
