“ Nupela gave birth on 4 February 2020 and we witnessed the tiny baby crawl into the safety of mum’s pouch. After the birth, we’ve been doing daily pouch checks to monitor the joey’s growth. Although she’s a first-time mother, Nupela is a natural. Her maternal instincts see her regularly cleaning her pouch and grooming her little one. ”
