An Adventure with Langur and Friends
Rainforest Wild ASIA Outpost Classroom & Karst Lookout 45 minutes per session Kindergarten 1-2In this interactive presentation, young learners will “explore” the rainforest and meet its many fascinating inhabitants. The programme also includes a guided tour to view the François’ langurs in their habitat at the Karst lookout!
Learning Goals
- Discover different animals that live in the rainforest.
- Explore how animals move in different ways.
- Learn about the various layers of the rainforest they reside in.
Adventure Programme
Wildlife Navigators @ Rainforest Wild ASIA
Rainforest Wild ASIA 3 hours 30 minutes per session Kindergarten 1-2Step into the heart of the rainforest with Rainforest Wild ASIA, where children become navigators children and discover about animal movements, habitats and the delicate rainforest ecosystem.
In this immersive discovery journey, children will explore the layers of the rainforest and enter the mysterious caverns. Our young ones will also learn to overcome exciting obstacles and uncover clues to lead them to various rainforest animals. Critical life skills like risk assessment, navigation using a baseplate compass will also be taught to equip them like real explorers!
- Develop a sense of connection to the natural world by observing and experiencing the unique behaviours and habitats of rainforest animals.
- Cultivate empathy by learning about the needs, challenges, and natural movements of wildlife, and recognising how human actions can support or harm their wellbeing.
- Develop observation skills and critical thinking through exploration, map reading, and risk assessment.
- Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and collaborative spirit with others.
Things To Note:
- Programme bookings are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
- For the safety of all personnel, outdoor programmes may be altered at our discretion due to unsuitable weather conditions.
- For every 10 paying students, 1 adult gains free programme admission. Any additional adult(s) are subject to the regular programme rate. This ratio does not apply to enrichment centres.
- If your group size falls below the minimum required number of participants, you will be required to cover the difference by paying for the additional students needed to meet the minimum requirement.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice. If you have already made a prior booking before the price change, your booking will not be affected. All prices shown are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of GST.
- Meeting and dismissal points will be at the programmes’ respective parks. Please refer to your programme outline for more information on meeting and dismissal points.
- Programme rates are inclusive of park entry.
- Meals are not provided for this programme. Children may pack their own snacks.
