Workshops
Floral Fun: Petals & Prints Workshop
28 Jun (Sat)
10:30am – 1:30pm & 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Main Hall, Bird Paradise Learning Centre
Children can use natural elements like leaves, petals and other plant elements to extract vibrant colours and design their own unique orchid postcard inspired by Singapore’s national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim.
This is a drop-in workshop with limited spots. We recommend getting your tickets in advance to secure your place!
Recommended age: All ages (Parent accompaniment for children below 5 years)
Fee: $14 per participant
One craft per ticket.
The first 50 onsite participants for each session each day will receive a free gift.
Five Stones Fun Workshop

Main Hall, Bird Paradise Learning Centre
Children will get to create their own personalised Five Stones set and discover the exciting cultural significance of this beloved game that has been passed down through the years.

Sambar Deer’s Mystic Mystery — By MySuperFuture Theatrical Productions
Join the dance as songs and stories unfold, with a touch of fortune, a whisper of guidance, and perhaps the discovery of your own spirit animal along the way.
Children will engage in simple dance and kinesthetic movements to develop body awareness and help them connect with the concept of similes.
Recommended age: 3 to 6 years old

The Ant's March! A Nature Play Workshop
Step into the fascinating world of Wesley the Weaver Ant in "The Ants March," an outdoor adventure blending nature and art!
Children will explore the lives of weaver ants, discovering their teamwork and intricate nests.
Through outdoor exploration and a hands-on weaving activity, they’ll gather natural materials, exercise their creativity to create unique nests.

Join Plotterpus Adventure Tours for an exciting and interactive walking performance, specially designed for children aged 4 and above.

Walking Through The Sound Forest — By The Music Connection
Join us on an adventurous walk through the forest, where we discover nature and meet forest animals!
This storytelling programme is accompanied by live music, sound effects, movements and sensory elements, making it a fully immersive experience for children.

Ensuring a Safe Home With Dogs & Kids — By Noble Canine
In this engaging and practical workshop, learn how to create a safe, respectful and happy home environment for both your children and your dog.
Whether you're a new parent, welcoming a dog into the family, or simply want to improve daily harmony at home, this session offers essential tools to help you succeed.

Teaching Kids How to Live & Play With Dogs — By Noble Canine
This joyful, hands-on workshop teaches children the most important rules of safe, respectful, and kind interactions with dogs.
With fun demonstrations, roleplay, and games, children will learn how to “speak dog,” avoid common mistakes, and build confidence around their furry friends.

Yes, dogs are welcome at the ungated spaces of Mandai Wildlife WEST and at the event!
To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, please always keep your dogs leashed, clean up after them, and dispose of all waste in a hygienic manner.
All dog breeds specified under the Animals & Birds (Licensing and Control of Cats and Dogs) Rules must be muzzled.
There are sheltered rest areas around Mandai Wildlife WEST catered specially for you and your pups to rest. We encourage you to bring your own refreshments and amenities for your pups’ needs.
Kindly bring along your own water to hydrate your pups as there are no water stations available.
No, dogs (including guide dogs) and all pets are strictly prohibited from entering Bird Paradise/Rainforest Wild ASIA, our parks and other gated areas.
