Backstage Pass: Penguin Encounters
- A minimum of 2 paying persons are required to commence the session and tour can accommodate a maximum of 8 persons.
- Tours sold are strictly non-refundable, non-cancellation and non-changeable.
- Tour prices are subjected to weekday, weekend and local Public Holiday.
- Tour price excludes park admission tickets.
- Participants must be at least 1.2m in height to participate in the Penguin Encounters tour.
- Tours are non-exclusive and other guests may join the same tour.
- Tours may be altered or cancelled due to animal health and/or safety concerns.
- Tours are solely conducted in English.
- Guests with mobility impairments are unable to join the tour due to safety reasons.
- For safety reasons, wheelchair, stroller, or other mobility aids cannot be accommodated.
- Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, during the tour. Young children must be supervised and held by an adult for the entirety of the tour.
- Participants are expected to behave responsibly and adhere to all instructions provided by staff for a safe and pleasant experience.
- Long pants, covered shoes and comfortable attire recommended. A jacket will be provided for warmth when entering the back-of-house.
- Participants are to arrive at least 5 minutes before tour start time at Level 3 of Ocean Network Express Penguin Cove, by the Penguin statue (approximate 5 - 8 minutes’ walk from the Main Entrance to Level 3 of Ocean Network Express Penguin Cove). Late arrivals may miss certain tour components and and the tour’s end time will not be extended. .
- Photo opportunities are allowed only at authorised photography areas.
- Participants are to comply with Parks Rules and Conditions for their own safety and quiet enjoyment and that of others.
